Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In the pre-roman period in Italy a wide range of languages other than Latin are attested in written sources. The course provides the students with an overview about language families (e.g. p-italic. q-italic. Tyrsenian) and stresses the common features of an "Old Italic Koiné". It presents the outlines of the historical grammar and illustrates the acts with a range of original texts.
