Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of this course is the theoretical consolidation of the research concept for the first BA thesis that has been prepared in the PS Methods of Applied Linguistics (summer term). This includes the review of relevant literature, the development of (a) detailed reserach question(s) as well as the conducting of an individual empirical study, based on the research concept that has been prepared in summer term.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presence; two oral presentations; writing of a BA thesis.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Writing of a BA thesis in Applied Linguistics. All written examinations will be checked by the Turnitin text similarity checker ("plagiarism test").
