Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Diese LV bietet einen Überblick über rezente Theorien des syntaktischen Wandels mit Schwerpunkt auf generativen Zugängen (bes. Principles & Parameters und Minimalismus). In der ersten Hälfte des Semesters werden verschiedene Zugänge vorgestellt und anhand von Beispielen diskutiert, in der zweiten Hälfte werden einige Fallstudien eingehender besprochen. Grundwissen im Bereich Grammatiktheorie wird vorausgesetzt.

Schriftliche Prüfung am Ende des Semesters.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Verständnis der besprochenen Literatur und der in der LV besprochenen Themen, eigenständige Einschätzung der Probleme & Debatten sowie der besprochenen Fallstudien.
Examination topics
Die in der LV besprochenen Themen und Fallstudien sowie die Handouts/Folien und die besprochene Literatur. Handouts und Hintergrundliteratur werden auf Moodle gepostet.
