Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Synchronic grammar of Tocharian A and B and their Proto-Tocharian and PIE basis (phonology, noun, verb, syntax); main problems of Tocharian philology.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The class enables students to work with Tocharian texts and forms by themselves for matters of IE reconstruction.
Examination topics
Lecture with the assistance of PowerPoint and handouts; discussion of secondary literature.
