Aims, contents and method of the course

This module provides a gerneral introduction to Celtic Studies. At its centre will be the provision of an overview of the main areas contributing sources to Celtic Studies, namely archaeology, history, linguistics and literature. Additional content will be on general aspects of Celtic cultural studies and Celtic religion.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This module provides a gerneral introduction to Celtic Studies and will provide students with an overview of the most important areas of Celtic Studies.

Examination topics

This course is based on the theories of learning of radical constructivism. By setting thematical foci and continuous metanarratives, the individual subjective epistemological process of students is facilitated and the means given to them to construct stable realities of archaeological, historical, linguistic and literary formation processes.
