Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Becoming competent in the fields of historical phonology and grammar of Avestan as the best documented Old Iranian corpus by working on and interpreting together the stanzas and formulas of Zarathushtra and related texts all of which are to be studied philologico-linguistically in all their details.

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral and written homework -- Reading short papers.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regular participation in the course and carrying out every single oral and written exercise each of which will be given individual marks.

Examination topics

All sorts of (home)work to be done on the basis of what was taught.
