Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
power point presentations (to be uploaded on moodle) of the own intended or already performed master thesis project as "kick off " material to start in-class discussion of one's project with the other master students. Two written homeworks (related to the own work). Active participation in classes also entails a maximum missing time allowed equals 180 minutes (3h) in total or an equivalent of 2 regular sessions.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
active participation in the discussions, power point presentation and active mandatory "buddy meetings" (discussion exchange) with other class mates (at least 2 per month, or 5-6 per semester) and interest into the field of focus of master thesis and interest into the others' projects as well.
Examination topics
Presentation with a written template (e.g. ppt) about the status of your own work, written and oral homework exercises during the semester, e.g. participation in at least 4 buddy meetings per semester, collaboration, discussions and active participation (see also “performance control” and “minimum requirements” above ).
