Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Übung sessions will reinforce the materials introduced in the Vorlesung, enhancing the understanding of the grammatical structure of Welsh, and gaining practice at speaking and understanding the spoken language.
To reinforce understanding of the grammar of standard written Welsh, and to enable students to communicate with confidence in simple everyday situations, and to become familiar with aspects of the culture and history of Wales.
A variety of interactive methods will be used, with the content of the materials designed to be useful in everyday situations, but also informative about key elements of the culture and history of Wales.

Examination topics

Final written and oral test at the end of the semester. Formative written and oral tests during the semester.
