Aims, contents and method of the course

An overview of complex sentences with particular focus on relative clauses and related problems of complex sentence construction.

Assessment and permitted materials

Type of Assessment: Regular weekly work, homework assignments and a final examination at the end of the semester. This course may also be counted as an elective subject.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Increased proficiency with sentence construction and word order, leading to better textual comprehension and compositional skills.
