Survey of European theatre history, scenography, important authors and their dramas, perofrmances and theoretical concepts beginning with ancient Greece, Rome, the Middle Ages, Renaissance ind Spain, Englang, Italy, the age of enlightenment, "Weimarer Klassik", the 19th century, naturalism, psychological realism, theatrical changes at the turn of the 19th century, Russian constructivism, theatre and politics in the early 20th century, Brecht, the absurd theatre, performance art, postmodern and postdramatic theatre, digital performance.

Lecture on Theatre History - From the Great Dionysia to Media Performances - A Survey of European Theatre History
