Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In the past fifteen years the international contemporary dance and live art has developed an artistic theoretical platform, continously introduces new performance formats and keeps up a discourse on live performance and media. The Viennese situation has been instrumental to this development. In "Ungeprüfte Qualität" we reflect the state of the art of contemporary dance and performance theoretically and pracitcally. Along the current performance program in Vienna we will investigate the different forms of physical presentation in performative and ciritical ways.
Assessment and permitted materials
One performative presentation, one theoretical lecture, one essay.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To connect the aesthetic and practical experience with an analytic discourse
Examination topics
