Medienanalyse der TV-Serie The Sopranos. Methodischer Zugang: Mediensemiotik, Cultural Studies und Psychoanalyse. Die Sopranos gelten als eine der besten oder gar als die beste TV-Serie aller Zeiten (wer auch immer die Macht haben mag, derartige Urteile zu fällen); fest steht: Die Serie war ein außerordentlicher Erfolg und hat eine Flut an Sekundärliteratur aller Art "provoziert". Kein Wunder angesichts der Vielfalt der Themen, Konflikte und Aspekte: Gut und Böse, Recht und Unrecht, die beiden Familien (Frau und Kinder / die Mafia), eigene und fremde Kultur, Träume- und Albträume, Psyche und Psychopharmaka, Religion, Sex, Gewalt, Rassismus, Religion....
