Ab dem Sommersemester 2020 werden im Aufbaumodul "Theorie" neben regulären Proseminaren auch Proseminare mit Schreibwerkstatt angeboten. In Proseminaren mit Schreibwerkstatt werden neben der Vermittlung fachwissenschaftlicher Lehrinhalte gezielt wissenschaftliche Arbeitsweisen vermittelt, geübt und angewendet.Die entsprechenden Proseminare werden mit dem Zusatz "mit Schreibwerkstatt" versehen. (z.B. Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Two written achievements during the semester, one written examination at the end of the semester.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Compulsory achievements for the completion of the course immanent to the examination are:
- Participation in the first proseminar session on 06.03.23 and regular attendance of the proseminar (maximum of three absent hours).
- Continuous reading and elaboration of the texts
- three theatre attendances
- submission of two texts (both 750 words plus/minus 10% = approx. 2 A4 pages) during the semester
- passing a written exam, which will take place on 26.06.23 from 16.45 to 18.15.

Examination topics
The contents of all compulsory texts, especially focused on those aspects and questions that were discussed in the proseminar.

This is especially true of the term "theatre" itself, which is why academic texts sometimes use definitional formulations, while on the other hand it is not uncommon to write of "the" theatre without clarifying what exactly is meant.
On the basis of texts from the last decades as well as three practical examples, the students learn 1. to know and distinguish between different theatre or performance terms, 2. to deal precisely with theatre-theoretical terms, 3. to read texts from the field of theatre studies precisely and 4. to argue theoretically well-founded in relation to performances and different forms of theatre.
Overall, the proseminar aims at a competent and independent handling of theoretical terms in the context of a plurality of theatre terms.
