Ziel ist sowohl das Kennen lernen digitaler Medienarchive, als auch die medienwissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit akustischer Kunst
Examination topics
Die LV-TeilnehmerInnen sollen mit historischen und aktuellen Beispielen akustischer Kunst vertraut gemacht werden und selbst Hörbeispiele einbringen, die in der LV diskutiert und einer Analyse unterzogen werden.

Als Beispiele werden u. a. Werke von Walter Ruttmann, John Cage, Max Neuhaus und Valie Export herangezogen. Es sollen aber auch aktuelle Produktionen wie zum Beispiel Arbeiten von Michaela Melián oder Bill Fontana in die Untersuchung einbezogen werden.
