Confronting concepts of subjectivity and the historization of cultures of affection.

The class, taking as starting points the complex shifting periods of the Early Modern Age and the 18th century, discusses different concepts of authenticity and their coding in relation to theatre.The class will offer summaries in English to accomodate non-German speakers.
