Aims, contents and method of the course
The Seminar will offer a forum for the periodical presentations of the doctoral thesis.
Assessment and permitted materials
Lectures will be given in German. Ongoing performance testing, written assessment (doctoral-thesis presentation). Qualification assignment, approved/ not approved.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Presentations of the doctoral thesis.
Examination topics
The course delves into the relationship between key theories and concepts of media studies, on the one hand, and current research trends and challenges, and ensuing methodological approaches, on the other.
