Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will explore fundamental questions of legal philosophy by reading texts
by Hans Kelsen, H.L.A. Hart, Lon F. Fuller, Joseph Raz, Matthew Kramer,
Brian Leiter, Scott Shapiro and others. The texts will be available via
moodle.

Assessment and permitted materials

Course requirements (grading): Presence in each seminar session and reading of text assignments is mandatory.
Active participation (30 %); Seminar paper (70%): 6.500 words; due January 31, 2016 .

Short lectures provoiding background by the teacher; presentations by students, discussion.
