Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course aims to give students knowledge of some key themes and academic discussions about human enhancement and transhumanism and to support their ability to critically respond to these discussions. Each week we will read, present, and discuss a key text on human enhancement and/or transhumanism.
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment: essay (80%) and presentation (20%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students need to have good knowledge of the key themes and discussions about human enhancement and transhumanism, and be able to respond critically to these discussions.
