Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

"Philosophy has become something different from the very moment when she started to interpret herself AS a form of art". This claim is crucial for the entire seminar.
In the first sessions we will clarify the genealogy of this claim. Where did it arise in the history of philosophy? Against which image of philosophy does this claim rebel? Which philosophical thoughts are being exposed by virtue of this new way of thinking? Which names are connected with this movement of thought?
In the second half of the seminar we will investigate concrete movements of thought, concerned with demonstrating this alternative image of thought.
