Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The philosophical argument, even the philosophical orientation in principle played an important role in the discourse of the austro marxist party-elite-Dialectic, empiriocriticism, religion, state and the place of materialism in Marxism were discussed. Mainly the positions of Otto Bauer, Max Adler and Karl Renner will be reconstructed in the seminar. Were they coherent and is there a relation between theory and political practice? IAt the first meeting there will be a short introduction and the presentations of the students were scheduled. 2. and 3. meeting a lecture on the topic will follow, the rest of the seminar students will present papers.
Assessment and permitted materials
Obligatory presence. Presentation. Participation in the discussion. Seminar-paper in print.
