Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar will examine select writings by Adorno, Agamben, Lacoue-Labarthe, Lyotard, Badiou, Ranciere, and Zizek on the question of the Holocaust

Assessment and permitted materials

PRÜFUNGSMODALITÄTEN/GRADE REQUIREMENTS:
In order to receive a grade for the seminar, one has to choose between a presentation (30 - 40 minutes) or a paper (20 pages, 1 ¿ spaces). Presentations can be selected during the preliminary meeting on March 18th.
Class attendance is required!

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This seminar attempts to provide an overview regarding and discussion of different philosophical responses to the Holocaust.
