Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In What Is Philosophy? Deleuze and Guattari present us a concept of philosophy, in which thinkings becomes a creative mode of acting. It creates concepts. Thus philosophy enters into a close relationship to the arts. A philosopher does not think something which is already fully constituted before he thinks IT. On the contrary. Thinking constructs the object of thinking while it thinks IT. Not out of nothingness, but by resignifying the archives of our past through repeating them differently. Re-thinking what has been determined in the past tense thus becomes a creative act in which one gives future to the past. This image of thought culminates in the conception of a creative plane of Immanence as a force at work in philosophers, artists and scientists in different modes.
