Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Lehrveranstaltung zielt darauf ab, den Studierenden einen professionellen Einstieg in die zukünftige Unterrichtstätigkeit zu ermöglichen. Im Zentrum der Lehrveranstaltung steht daher die gezielte praktische Vorbereitung darauf. Das Seminar soll einerseits einen theoretischen Einblick bieten und andererseits praktische Erfahrungen ermöglichen.

- Reflexion der eigenen Lehrerinnenrolle
- Planung des Psychologieunterrichts (Jahresplanung, Stundenbilder)
- Planung und Durchführung einer Unterrichtssequenz mit anschließender Reflexion
- Analyse und Vergleich von Schulbüchern
- Auseinandersetzung mit möglichen Unterrichts- und Arbeitsmethoden und deren Erprobung
- Auseinandersetzung mit den Themenpools im Rahmen der neuen Reifeprüfung
- Analyse und Gestaltung von kompetenzorientierten Aufgabenstellungen zur mündlichen Reifeprüfung
- Methoden der Leistungsfeststellung kennenlernen

Assessment and permitted materials

Die Beurteilung erfolgt kumulativ über alle geforderten Einzel- und Gruppenleistungen. Arbeitsaufträge zu Inhalten der LV, Mitarbeit, Planung und Durchführung einer Unterrichtssequenz in der Gruppe, Abschlussarbeit

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course will provide theoretical insight into the teaching methodology of the subject. Based on the curriculum we will reflect on aims and content of psychology lessons, discuss the criteria of good lessons and analyse different teaching methods and exam strategies. Creating a schedule for the whole school year and for individual lessons as well as getting to know and analysing different school books is supposed to prepare the participants for their professional practice.
The participants are expected to plan and give lessons in the seminar and to reflect on them critically. Lessons of other students will offer the opportunity to observe, analyse and evaluate the teaching reality. Dealing with the rules and regulations of the new competence oriented school leaving exam will make the participants aware of the necessary adjustments concerning the psychology lessons.
Participants are expected to critically deal with expert literature, to plan lessons individually and to give lessons in front of the course group. The individual teaching skills will improve on the basis of information relevant for the professional practice, reflection and constructive feedback.

Assessment and permitted materials

Attendance, reading expert literature, accomplishing assignments, participation (discussions, feedback), planning and giving lessons, final paper (lesson plan with lesson material, description and analysis of the lesson, reflexion of one's own and the observed lessons based on expert literature).

Aims, contents and method of the course

ZIELE
Durch die angeleitete vertiefte Auseinandersetzung mit einerseits spezifischen, psychologischen, lehrplanorientierten Inhalten und andererseits deren möglicher didaktischer Umsetzung sowie kritische Reflektion dessen, soll die fachwissenschaftliche Grundlage mit der Unterrichtspraxis verknüpft werden.
Durch die Auseinandersetzung mit Lehrplänen, Kriterien guten Unterrichts, Stundenbildern und Einsatzmöglichkeiten von verschiedenen Unterrichtsmethoden sollen die Rahmenbedingungen und Ziele des Psychologieunterrichts diskutiert und reflektiert werden.
Die darauf aufbauende Vertiefung in ein selbst gewähltes, lehrplankonformes psychologisches Thema führt zur Planung und Durchführung von Unterrichtsequenzen im Seminar, bei denen Unterrichtsmethoden erprobt und erlebt werden können.
Die Rolle als Lehrperson und die didaktisch begründete Verknüpfung von Inhalt mit Methode soll erlebt und durch konstruktives Feedback reflektiert werden.
Studierende sollen dabei Verständnis und Sensibilität für den Umgang mit psychologischen Fragestellungen und Themen im Unterricht entwickeln und dabei (eigene und fachliche) Möglichkeiten und Grenzen entdecken.
Die im Seminar erarbeiteten didaktisch-methodischen und inhaltlichen Unterlagen werden im Hinblick auf zukünftige Unterrichtstätigkeit allen Seminarteilnehmer/innen zur Verfügung gestellt.

INHALTE
Im Seminar werden Ziele und Inhalte des Psychologieunterrichts anhand der Lehrpläne für AHS und BHS sowie Kriterien guten Unterrichts erarbeitet und diskutiert. Es werden verschiedene Methoden des Unterrichtens vorgestellt und analysiert sowie erarbeitet, wie kompetenzorientierte Unterrichtsstunden aufgebaut werden können. Auf dieser Basis erarbeiten Studierende (in Kleingruppen) dann am Lehrplan orientierte psychologische Themen anhand aktueller fachwissenschaftlicher Literatur, planen diese als Unterrichtssequenz und erproben diese im Seminar mit den Kolleg/innen. Planung und Umsetzung werden im Anschluss in Bezug auf die Rolle als Lehrperson und die konkrete didaktische Umsetzung analysiert und reflektiert. Dabei wird auf konstruktives Feedback Wert gelegt, sodass durch die Erfahrungen im Seminar die eigene Unterrichtskompetenz weiterentwickelt werden kann. Den Abschluss stellt eine schriftliche Arbeit dar, die neben der fach-wissenschaftlichen Erarbeitung des Themas auch fachdidaktische Überlegungen und Begründungen, ein Stundenbild sowie die verwendeten Materialien enthält.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist es, dass die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ihr fachdidaktisches Wissen und Können erweitern, vertiefen, umsetzen und erproben. Im Zentrum hierfür steht die Planung, Durchführung und Diskussion von Unterrichtseinheiten. Dadurch werden wir die Grundlagen und Rahmenbedingungen des Psychologieunterrichts kennen lernen: Ziele und Grenzen des „guten“ Psychologieunterrichts, die geltenden Lehrpläne, die inhaltlichen Kernbereiche und eine Auswahl an geeigneten psychologischen Themen, Idee und Anwendung der Kompetenzorientierung, das Verhältnis zwischen (fachwissenschaftlichem) Inhalt und (didaktischer) Methode, Jahres- aber vor allem Stundenplanung, das Entwickeln von Stundenbildern, schließlich das Verfassen von inhaltlichen und methodischen Unterrichtsunterlagen, die dann längerfristig für die Praxis dienlich sein sollen.

Die Planung, Durchführung und Diskussion einer Unterrichtseinheit wird voraussichtlich in Dreiergruppen stattfinden – pro Seminareinheit eine Gruppe. Auf diesem Weg gelangen die TeilnehmerInnen des Seminars in die Position, ihre didaktischen Potenziale und Fähigkeiten zu erproben, ihre inhaltlichen und methodischen Präferenzen besser kennen zu lernen und mehr Aufschluss über sich als Lehrperson zu erhalten. Relevant dafür ist eine Verschränkung von inhaltlicher Themenvertiefung und geeigneter Unterrichtsmethoden. Dabei können die inhaltlichen Themen frei gewählt werden, müssen aber den Kernbereichen des Lehrplans für die AHS bzw. für die BHS entsprechen und fachwissenschaftlich aufgearbeitet werden. Die Unterrichtsmethoden werden vorgegeben, können aber adaptiert und optional um weitere Methoden ergänzt werden.

In addition to content input on didactic possibilities, forms of teaching etc. problems of the students were asked for, discussed and solved together (clarification of terms, search for literature, editing of scientific texts, examination modalities, etc.). Students' own learning experiences (learning histories) also play an important role. For personal reflections of the different expectations of the students to your profession will also be in this seminar time. Last but not least, in this course of study the field of work of the teachers is investigated.

Assessment and permitted materials

The contents of the course are elaborated through lectures, practical exercises and discussion. Literature on the individual aspects is given in the seminar. The participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions between the individual sections. The aim is to examine the basic principles of didactics as well as to deal with predefined literature and self-activity (individually or in a team, holding a teaching unit, literature studies, discussions).
