Vertiefung des Verständnisses einer historischen Gesellschaftsformation, in der die Philosophie entstanden ist.

Literaturlisten der Quellentexte und der Sekundärliteratur werden in der ersten Stunde aufliegen.

Im Seminar werden Quellentexte (Homer, Hesiod, Aristoteles, Xenophon) hinsichtlich der genannten drei Aspekte gelesen, wobei ausgewählte Sekundärliteratur (u.a. Karl Polanyi, Moses Finley, Michel Foucault) eine Art Leseanleitung bietet.
Die Lehrveranstaltung wurde mit Mag. Marianne Kubaczek konzipiert und wird auch gemeinsam mit ihr abgehalten.
