Aims, contents and method of the course
Collective responsibility is a core topic in current social philosophy. It involves action theory, the theory of joint action, as well as issues concerning social, global, and intergenerational justice. This course covers a selection of relevant topics. Most of the reading will be based on the Routledge Handbook of Collective Responsibility (2020).
Assessment and permitted materials
Mandatory presence in all meetings; timely provision of discussion inputs to all meetings; active participation in the discussion; (co-)moderation of one session.
