Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The goal of this seminar is to discuss basic problems of philosophical didactics. Kant and Hegel serve as starting points. Central topics are: philosophical formation or Bildung, assessing philosophical activities in the classroom, and the role of classical authors, among others. Students are supposed to give a presentation on one of these topics or a selected didactical problem.
Assessment and permitted materials
Didactical planning of lesson in a team and the implementation of the lesson design in the actual classroom setting
Written paper (methodological analysis and reflection of the lesson)
