Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this seminar we will consider the question of what social agency is and what it implies. Is social agency a mere collection of individual actions, or is it more than that? Are there collective agents over and above individual agents? What is the nature of collective responsibility? We will read authors like Michael Bratman, Margaret Gilbert, John Searle, David Velleman, and others.
