Aims, contents and method of the course

** DIESES SEMINAR RICHTET SICH SPEZIFISCH AN FORTGESCHRITTENE STUDIERENDE (6./7. SEMESTER) **

Ziele und Inhalte: Die LV dient der Einführung in die empirisch-wissenschaftliche Methode im Bereich der Psychologie. Inhalte betreffen Untersuchungsplanung, Untersuchungsarten, Methoden der Datenerhebung, die Güte von Daten sowie die Replizierbarkeit von Forschungsergebnissen. Inhalte werden auf einer theoretischen Ebene präsentiert und diskutiert, aber auch anhand praktischer Beispiele (aktuelle englischsprachige empirische Studien) behandelt. Ebenso wird eine Einführung in Statistik und SPSS gegeben.

Methode: Arbeit in Teams, forumsbasierte online Diskussion (Moodle), Diskussion in Präsenzeinheiten, Referate.

Assessment and permitted materials

Anwesenheit, Mitarbeit, Referat + Protokoll, schriftliche Abschlussarbeit (eigenständige Auseinandersetzung mit einer empirischen Studie aus dem Bereich der Psychologie).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Es besteht Anwesenheitspflicht, ein zweimaliges Fehlen ist gestattet.
Jede Teilleistung wird eigenständig bewertet. Die Mitwirkung an einem Referat und das Abfassen eines Protokolls fließt zu 40% und 10% in die Beurteilung der Lehrveranstaltung ein; die Abschlussarbeit zu den restlichen 50%.
