Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar aims at discussing methodological and didactical aspects of teaching ethics at AHS and BHS. The crucial question is the following: what is skills orientation? Is this a useful approach? How can it be implemented in the classroom? The topics chosen correspond with the Austrian curriculum, and help students to get ready for their teaching assignments in the future. The seminar also offers information on various topics related to teaching, such as the new Matura. Students are supposed to attend and reflect upon one of the talks on didactics in philosophy, organized by the department.Reflection and analysis of teaching practice
