Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Certificate are aquired through regularly attending the seminar and participating in class (25% of grade). Oral presentation in a small group of 2-4 students to a selected text, which will be discussed during the seminar (35% of grade). (See list of literature on Moodle). Four written reflections (3 pages each) to four course units that the students can choose themselves or one text (12 pages) on a a subject, discussed in the seminar (40% of grade)

In particular we will investigate the relation of concept and affect in Deleuze`s works, alluding as well to Spinoza's concept of affection.
Method: close reading of relevant Deleuze-texts, the participants of the seminar will present first to discuss them all together later in the seminar.
