Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture provides an overview of the most pertinent topics of cognitive
psychology: memory, its functions and disorders; attention; perception;
thinking and problem solving; reading; language; decision making. A brief
introduction into the historical development of the area is given at the
beginning of the course.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written or oral exams at the end of the lecture.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge acquisition concerning the - methods of cognitive
psychology; - research results of cognitive psychology; history of
the domain.

Examination topics

Lecture; self reading (of text book); written exams.
