Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture provides an introduction to the field of cognitive psychology covering the fundamental topics of the field: perception, attention, memory, learning, decision making, and problem solving. The history of the discipline will be covered also as well as the main methods and, if desired, selected addtional topics such as sleep, mindfulness, and creativity.Method: classroom-style; interactive.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written or oral exams at the end of the lecture.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Knowledge acquisition in the history, the methods, and the state of research in cognitive psychology/neuroscience.
Examination topics
Lecture; self reading (text book); witten exams.
