Aims, contents and method of the course

Focus on and further development of running MA theses (Philosophy and HPS) and dissertations in the field of history and philosophy of science, incl. historical and social science studies.
Topics, contents, and methods of recent research of HPS.
Presentations and discussions of running related theses in this interdisciplinary research field.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presentation of theses with handouts and/or PowerPoint.
Simulation of an upcoming Defensio of the Master Thesis or Doctoral Thesis and discussion of all other presentations in most recent research context.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Oral presentation with related abstracts and/or PowerPoint. Participation in all 3 daily sessions.

Examination topics

Related publications in HPS, history of philosophy of science (HOPOS), and historical and social science studies, as recommended in the list if research literature.
