Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the seminar is to provide students working on MA dissertations with constructive feedback and support. Students will present their MA projects, followed by discussion.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students are expected to participate regularly (no more than two unexcused absences), do a presentation and comment on prepare commentary on the presentations of two other participants.The final grade will be determined by:
Presentation: 60%
Commentary on other presentations and participation in discussions: 40%In order to receive a positive mark, students must all the minimum requirements.
1 (sehr gut): 89% - 100%
2 (gut): 76% - <89%
3 (befriedigend): 63% - <76%
4 (genügend): 50% - <63%
5 (nicht genügend): <50%
Presentation: 60%
