Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this seminar is the development of concept papers for the presentation and joint discussion of diploma theses as well as the reflection of questions and problems that may arise during the writing of scientific theses. We will consider aspects of scientific writing such as reference systems and also discuss solutions to personal problems in getting the writing done.Discussions, group work, individual assessment and help.
Assessment and permitted materials
Attendance (you may only miss one session without prior notice), active participation and the presentation of a concept or part of a philosophical thesis.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance (you may only miss one session without prior notice), active participation and the presentation of a concept or part of a philosophical thesis.Your attendance counts for 20 % of the final grade, a presentation and your active participation in discussions amounts to another 30 %, and the text you produce will be the basis for the remainder of your grade in this seminar.
Examination topics
This is a seminar with mandatory attendance. The grade is not based on one or more written exams but on active participation in discussions and the written work produced during term.
