Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Vorlesung soll einen Ueberblick zu dem komplexen Thema 'Gedaechtnis' bieten. Behandelt werden klassische Texte von Augustinus, Aristoteles, Descartes; wichtige Texte zur Theorie des kuenstlichen Gedaechtnisses und der Beziehung von Gedaechtnis und Rhetorik; Theorien zum kulturellen Gedaechtnis von Halbwachs, Assmann, Ong u.a.; literarische und literaturwissenschaftliche Texte, insbesondere zur klassischen Antike und Proust.
