Gute Kenntnisse in Theorien der qualitativen, interpretativen und rekonstruktiven Sozialforschung; Praktische Kenntnisse in der Datenerhebung von narrativen Interviews und Ethnographie werden vorausgesetzt.Von den Studierenden wird eine kontinuierliche Anwesenheit über alle Termine des Semesters; die aktive Mitarbeit in der Vorlesung; die intensive Mitarbeit in Arbeitsgruppen sowie die Lektüre von englischsprachigen Texten erwartet.

Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Vorlesung führt in die Theorie und Praxis der qualitativen und interpretativen Sozialforschung ein. Im Mittelpunkt des 2. Teils der Vorlesung und der Übung stehen die Analysestrategien im qualitativen Forschungsprozess. Wir werden uns mit der Grounded Theory Methodologie, Mixed Methods und der Interpretationspraxis im Umgang mit qualitativen Interviews auseinandersetzen.

2 Übungen in Kleingruppen zur Interpretationspraxis im Umgang mit Interviews; Klausur am 30.6.2015.Die Gesamtnote wird als arithmetisches Mittel aus den Teilleistungen berechnet. Voraussetzung für einen positiven Abschluss ist die Teilnahme an allen drei Prüfungselementen!
