Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Through selected examples taken from the history of education in Austria - such as legislative texts, influential persons, and other sources - students of this Proseminar learn to deal with, analyse and produce narratives and forms of expression used in this field of research. Guided by short comments of the teacher and readings students should present their analysis and/or narratives, which finally are fixed in a written paper.
Assessment and permitted materials
Zum positiven Absolvieren des PS sind das Lesen und Bearbeiten der für die jeweilige Einheit vorgesehenen Literatur, kurze und fristgerecht abgegebene Arbeitsaufträge, eine Präsentation und nach den Regeln guter wissenschaftlicher Praxis verfasste PS-Arbeit vorzulegen. Aufgrund des prüfungsimmanenten Charakters der Lehrveranstaltung sind auch Anwesenheit und Mitarbeit Teil der Leistung. Die PS-Arbeit kann als Grundlage für ein weiterführendes, mündliches Gespräch herangezogen werden.
