Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture will include information about creating partnerships with parents of children with disabilities. An emphasis will be on working with families who are from diverse cultural, racial, and linguistic backgrounds. Research conducted with parents of young children with disabilities will be discussed.Methods used will include activities, case studies, videos, small and large discussion groups.
Assessment and permitted materials
efficiency control, criterions how you evaluate scientific papersA rubric with important features of the students’ work will be used to score the papers and projects using the following grading system: participation/discussion (20%), presentation (30%) und term paper (50%) .
