    Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students learn about queer-feminist and intersectional theoretical perspectives on sexuality and elaborate on their relevance to institutionalised educational pathways. Theoretical texts (queer theory and intersectionality) and empirical research on the role of sexuality from queer and intersectional perspectives in institutionalised educational pathways are discussed.

    Assessment and permitted materials

Attendance, participation and reading of the texts are obligatory. In some cases, excerpts of the texts to be read will have to be submitted. A 'exam' or 'seminar paper' is planned for the end of the semester. The exact mode will be discussed together at the first meeting.

    Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

    Participation and text reading: 20%
    Text Excerpts: 20%
    Seminar paper/exam: 60%

All partial examinations must be completed positively.

    Examination topics

In addition to text reading and active participation in the units, small written text excerpts are to be submitted and a seminar paper is to be written.
