Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

One of the most important ways of conducting historical research is through the analysis of historical documents. In the case of historical education research, much can be learned about the goals of curricula by analyzing schooling laws, curricula, and teaching resources, such as textbooks. Alongside the analysis of sources, specific details of these goals can be learned when placed in context with sources and timeframes. This seminar will aim to guide students in producing bachelor theses on topics that are historical in nature. This work is supported through peer-groups and constructive feedback.
This course can also be seen as a continuation of the summer semester 2022 BM 9 (190093).
