Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

After an introduction to adult education (institutions, history, structures, pedagogical practice and educational concepts), the lecture offers an examination of current challenges for adult education after the pandemic and its limitations for the work of adult education, in times of massive resources and budget shortages and in times of climate crisis and war.

The lecture dates are supplemented by the evening dates of the Jour Fixe Bildungstheorie/praxis and an international project final conference on the topic: Current challenges of adult education. Information on this in January 2023 at:

Written exam (additional, independent registration required) as take home exam
