Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students acquire knowledge of the current state of (empirical) psychotherapy and counseling research as well as competencies for the exemplary application of methods of process, concept, outcome and case research, conceptual, outcome and case research.

This seminar will focus on the definition of a clinical approach of research psychoanalytically orientated in the field of education and training. We will work on the precision of each of the terms that define this approach, while considering the epistemological question of how to take into account the unconscious phenomena. We will also review different types of methodologies that allow for the consideration of unconscious phenomena while addressing ethical issues. We will also discuss current research in the field of psychoanalysis in education and training.
