Die Beurteilung setzt sich aus der Anwesenheit (30%), der Mitarbeit (30%) und der schriftlichen Leistungen (40%) zusammen.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In der ersten Einheit (zu Semesterbeginn) gibt die LV-Leiterin einen ersten Überblick zum Thema und weist auf spezielle Aspekte des Capability Approach und dessen Geschichte hin. Im Weiteren teilen sich die Studierenden in Kleingruppen und erarbeiten spezifische Themen unter dem Gesichtspunkt des CA. Die Ergebnisse werden präsentiert und diskutiert. Durch die Erstellung von Mindmaps werden Zwischenergebnisse der Lernprozesse von den Studierenden selbst festgehalten. Diese werden wiederum am Ende der Lehrveranstaltung zur Reflexion herangezogen.

In diesem Seminar wird den Studierenden ein erster Zugang sowie teilweise Vertiefungen zum Konzept des Capability Approach nach Amartya Sen (und anderen) eröffnet. Durch die Lektüre und kritische Auseinandersetzung mit ausgewählter Literatur werden einzelne Aspekte des Ansatzes konkret behandelt, um ein klares Verständnis des Hintergrunds und der Möglichkeiten, die der CA bietet, zu unterstützen.
Die Studierenden erarbeiten sich im Weiteren in Kleingruppen thematisch konkrete Zugänge zum CA und beschäftigen sich mit den Unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten, die eine Perspektive mit dem Capability Approach auf (Dis-) Abilities mit sich bringt. Diese Einblicke werden in einem weiteren Schritt im Plenum geteilt und diskutiert.Ziel des Seminars ist es den Studierenden einen Zugang zum Capability Approach und dessen Möglichkeiten und Grenzen zu eröffnen. Diese Auseinandersetzung befähigt Studierende dazu, kritische Perspektiven einzunehmen und sich mit Themen der Diversität auf einer anderen Ebene auseinanderzusetzen.
