Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Recent research and central theoretical perspectives on the professions, professionalism and professionalisation will be analyzed and discussed. The focus will be on the teaching profession at schools and universities and how to bridge the theory practice space in the development of professional competences.

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment on the basis of a seminar paper and its quality according to the standards of good scientific practice; qualified contributions in the face-to-face meetings; presentation and discussion of the seminar paper in class.
Both discussions and presentations can also take place in a virtual learning environment, if after Easter, beginning with 21.April 2020, a face-to-face seminar meeting will still not be possible.
