Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

After an introduction to the topic of adult education (institutions, history, structures, pedagogical practice and educational concepts), the lecture offers an examination of artistic and musical adult education. Theoretically and practically, we will deal with the question of the extent to which the concept of 'aesthetic education' is still useful in times of usability and employability. Postcolonial critique of the idea of aesthetic education will also be addressed.
