Aims, contents and method of the course

(Language of instruction: english)The topic of models of disabilities offers an approach towards how certain attitudes and convictions are influencing our undjerstanding of disability. Additionally, it will be discussed how certain models influence counselling, diagnostics and rehabilitation. While accessing this topic from a critial perspective, we are going to discuss challenges and problems as well as possibilities certain models offer.

Assessment and permitted materials

Your grade will be composed of: presence in the seminar (20%), presentation (30%) and final paper (50%)
