Aims, contents and method of the course
Aims of the seminar: Background knowledge about scientific practice and publishing, critical evaluation of scientific practice, critical reading, writing scientifically, and specific topic empirical aesthetics.Contents: Introduction in Scientific Practice, Discussion about scientific practice, special topic empirical aesthetics;Method: Presentations about Scientific Practice and Publishing, tutorials on critical reading, presenting, and scientific writing, student presentations of topics in empirical aesthetics;
Assessment and permitted materials
Grading and weighting (see below) of essay, presentation, and participation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- Active participation (20%)- Presentation (40%)- Essay - 1 page (40%)- Special: Attendance - maximum of 3 missed units

Articles for presentations will be given in the seminar.
