Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture gives an introduction to Economic Psychology.

It will cover the following topics (among others):
- Decision making (normative and descriptive decision theories) and decision biases
- Lay theories
- Markets (e.g., labor markets and financial markets)
- Shadow economy and tax evasion
- Work and unemployment
- Welfare and wellbeing

Assessment and permitted materials

Online exam (50 minutes):

- 15 multiple choice questions (max. 1 point per question)
- 1 longer question in multiple choice format. This question comprises 10 multiple choice questions (max. 0.5 points per multiple choice question, max. 5 points for this question).

The exam will be on moodle. Please note that there will be a separate Moodle course for each exam date.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

We will NOT be able to register you for the exam if you miss the deadline. Please make sure you sign up for the exam.

You will need 50% to pass the exam.
