Aims, contents and method of the course

consumer decision making (traditional and alternative approaches), attitudes and image, ressources and distributions channels, consumer targeting (segments) and typologies

Assessment and permitted materials

preparation of questionsa nd presentation of the answers in small groups, physical and active attendance, exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Get to know the basics of institutional market research, analyses of market and consumer psychological theories und models, discussion of the inputs from theory and scientific models for practical market research, repetition of important social and general psychological theories

Examination topics

individual preparations for each unit (questions and scans of books will be available), presentation of the answers to the studied questions in small groups, evaluation by this group, then exercices from the practical market research
